Coffee Preparation Guide – WOODS

V60 Hot:

Coffee quantity

  • Strong: 20 g
  • Light: 18g

Quantity: One cup / 230 ml

Preparation time: 3–4 minutes

  1. Preparation method: Use 18g of coffee (medium grind).
  2. Place the V60 funnel with the paper filter on the server, then rinse the filter with hot water.
  3. Discard the rinse water and add the coffee inside the funnel.
  4. Pour 40g of water at a temperature of 93°C for hydration, and wait 30 seconds .
  5. Continue pouring slowly and in circular motions until you reach 260g of water.
  6. Approximate preparation time: 3 minutes .
  7. Stir gently and enjoy a balanced, clean cup ☕

V60 Cool:

Coffee quantity

  • Strong: 25 g
  • Light: 20g

Quantity: One cup / 300g

Preparation time: 2:30–3 minutes

Preparation method

  1. Place the paper filter in the funnel and rinse it with water.
  2. Add 180g of ice to the server.
  3. Place the funnel on top of the server and add the coffee.
  4. Pour 40g of hot water at 93°C for hydration, and wait 30 seconds .
  5. Continue pouring slowly until you reach 160g of water.
  6. Stir gently, pour into the cup, and enjoy!

Espresso:

Coffee quantity: 18g

Result: 36 g

Extraction time: 30–33 seconds

Grind size: Espresso (200–400 microns)

Preparation temperature: 93°C

Pressure: 9 bar

Water type: Mineral water containing 50–100 parts per million of magnesium and calcium

Preparation method

  1. Use 18g of coffee specifically for espresso.
  2. Make sure the grind is fine and balanced.
  3. Set the espresso machine to a temperature of 93° and a pressure of 9 bar .
  4. Start the extraction for 30–33 seconds until you get 36g of product.
  5. Enjoy a rich and flavorful espresso
